About the PDF to PNG
PNG is the right target when the PDF contains diagrams, charts, line art or text you want to stay crisp. Unlike JPG it is lossless, so there is no fuzzy halo around lettering and no blocky artefacts along the hard edges of a chart. Anything destined for a slide deck, a documentation page or a design file is better off as PNG.
Rendering happens in your browser using the same engine the browser uses to display PDFs, which is why the output matches what you see on screen rather than approximating it. Fonts, vector graphics and embedded images are all drawn at the resolution you ask for instead of being scaled up from a low-quality preview, and the resolution control lets you go well beyond screen size when the result needs to be printed or zoomed into.
Every page becomes its own PNG, and you can save them individually or take the whole set at once. Nothing is uploaded, so a contract, an internal report or a bank statement can be converted without it crossing the network. There is no page limit and no watermark, and a two-hundred-page document works the same way as a one-page letter.
